Real News, and Fantasy Casting

This is both the most messed-up thing I've read in, well, days, as well as the most obvious premise for a Hollywood action movie I've seen in, well, days.

Sad commentary on the state of world.

In a nutshell:
A Mexican military unit ("Zeta") trained in the U.S. as crack drug enforcement commandos now works for druglords, assassinating people, controlling whole towns, and contracting hits in the U.S. with domestic gangs.

Fantasy casting:
Clive Owen as the Zeta jefe with a completely inauthetnic Mexican accent; and Nick Cage as the DEA agent with a completely inauthentic Mexican accent who returns to Nuevo Laredo to avenge the death of his fiancee at the hands of his former special ops classmate (Owen) and restore dignity to the streets of his hometown.

Plus Luiz Guzman as the head of the DEA, because he's awesome.

Any word yet on whether this'll mean we can finally get some decent Mexican food in New York?
Oh, sorry. Yes, very tragic. I'm just really hungry right now.
